This was the best episode is a very long time. A+ all the way. Goes to show that the show can survive in a post Pierce and Troy world. Too bad we'll have to wait another month for the next ep.

I think it shows how starved we are for entertainment that this is considered funny.
I had a ton of legos as a little girl as well as knex, race car tracks, and erector sets (and barbies and baby dolls). I never heard of building toys being "for boys only".
I really don't have that much of a problem with having separate boy and girl toys. They've been doing it as I can remember and when I was a kid and wanted the other kind of toy (I'm a girl) my parents would just ask them for the boy toy.
Season 3 was not that good imo. I think people have this gut reaction to hate season 4 and glorify Harmon which taints their memory. I remember thinking at the time that anyone could be churning out the mediocre season 3 eps we got and so really wasn't too disappointment when Harmon left. It felt like the show was…
That's literally the only thing I remember about that movie.

I thought Showtime was entertaining. It certainly wasn't as bad as they make it out to be here.
I also grew up watching it on VHS and fast forwarding through that. I recently bought it on DVD and was surprised (and delighted) that that song was cut out. Though if you watch the full screen version (DVD comes with full and widescreen) it's still in that one.
Charles Krauthammer. He may be a staple of fox news now but he's had a long career outside of that too as a columnist and panelist on other shows. Plus he won a Pulitzer Prize for Commentary. The success of his recent books shows that he's more well known than you might think too.
After watching that video I have concluded that this will never not be funny.
If we're going to get mad about SNL's lack of black females then where's the outrage over their lack of Asians or almost any other minority group? At least MadTV had Bobby Lee.
I noticed that too. Either they really have no sense of humor or there's some personal reason they don't like him.
I don't think there's anything necessarily misogynistic about the final girl usually being a "good girl" as you put it. Laurie had no problem with her one cheerleader friend who preferred to do her boyfriend rather than homework. She even chose to get high with that friend as they were driving. It was never hinted…
I'm not sure if you're quoting the movie or something he said in an interview. Either way, as a woman, I found nothing in that movie to be offensive. If someone did, I suggest they grow a thicker skin and a sense of humor.
Wow, way off when it came to Dealin' With Idiots. Not sure where this reviewer left their sense of humor when they saw that. And that comment about misogyny is so unfounded (I noticed they didn't even attempt to offer an example of it) it makes everything else they say less credible. If they thought this movie was…
Sort of disappointed I only know about 5 of those bands. I have to work on my indie cred.
Yeah, that was at Prospect Park. I think I would have had a better opinion of Mission of Burma if they didn't play for so darn long. Plus Ted Leo practically got kicked off the stage after only a few songs so they could go on. By the time Wild Flag started playing it felt like they were doing Burma's encore.
Good thing I saw them two summer's ago. The music wasn't that memorable (though a relief after the close to two hour set by Mission to Burma) but it was cool to see them all live.
This reminds me an awful lot of Red Room and I'm sure there are other "game show" based horror movies I'm not aware of which have been already done too.
