I am suggesting the Chinese are subsidizing their steel and aluminum industry and that protectionist EU tariffs distort the US auto export market. Neither of which is terribly controversial.

I think it is simpler to get into the city than from JFK or LGA too. It is probably the least bad of three terrible option. LGA is like if the port authority bus station had planes, and JFK is just a pain to get into the city . I think we all prefer to fly out of TEB, but how many of us own a gulfstream.

In this specific instance there it is a retaliatory tariff on EU cars for which the US is the largest market. And Chinese aluminum and steel are on the receiving ends of anti dumping tariffs due to subsidized over productions by the Chinese.  It isn’t rocket surgery unless you only get your news from gawkmodo.
