I have a lot of friends with kids under the age of ten. All families but one post lots of pics and info on FB for distant friends and family to see. (I don’t have kids of my own, so I enjoy the pics and stories. Living vicariously! Wooooo!) Just one couple has chosen not to post pics and info of their kids (aged 4

I’m also mourning the death of True Crime. When people got the ax last fall, I wasn’t sure if it was dead also or not, so I’d check it periodically for activity. Alas, there was none.

Your story is adorable! I’m trying to imagine my 64 year old father wanting to go see a Disney movie with me.

I took a closer look and you’re right. I was distracted by the pretty neckline and didn’t notice the poor craftsmanship. There goes my one thing to cling to in this whole mess!

I mean, I like that gold dress up top, but that’s the only thing I like, so ...

That poor kid! There’s just way too much sadness to go around in that story.

Eh, that was almost a year ago. There’s no telling what her stance is now.

I also recommend following the link to the article. The ads alone are worth taking a look at. I think my favorite was the one that reads “The girl faultlessly gowned by Trigere. The car faultlessly lubricated by Valvoline . . .”

At first I thought it was a joke about the dress, and then I realized that it was an actual “all black people look alike to me” moment. :(

*sigh* I hate when these articles don’t allow you to click on the picture and comment. Now I have to go hunting for the person you’re talking about. Come on, Ellie! What were you thinking?

Whenever Yoko is in the news, this is the first thing I think of:

I followed the link to the CNN story about the lady (Robyn Frampton) who did the original gnome & fairy forest. It was a really beautiful, sad, inspirational story. It turns out that there were people vandalizing some of the original homes and doors, and a group of “ninja moms” got together to patrol the area at night
