Actually, the importance of head coverings is pretty familiar to me. I worked as an English tutor in a French high school, and I saw my students taking off and putting on their scarves as they entered the school grounds. I thought that was wrong, since I believe in the free exercise of religion. This is not that,

The law doesn’t require that they change how the dress, what language they speak, what religion they practice, etc, etc, etc. It does require that they not rape people just because in their home country, something is considered a come-on. It also requires that they not beat their wives and children. That’s not erasing

Well, I like the ambiguity. On the one hand, it could be meant in a “Eh, you got me, worthy opponent” kind of way, but on the other hand, it could be meant to imply that I’m gonna need luck because my life is shit. So your most recent effort has that going for it. With a bit of luck, your target might be tortured by

It’s “I got your nose” in America too.

Since you replied to me with the same dumbass argument that you used on someone else on this thread, I’m going to assume that you’re just a troll. And not even a good one! Come on, at least craft an individual response to show me just how much of a superior human you are! Copying and pasting is just lazy trolling,

My mom gives me a Hallmark ornament every year too, but she just picks out one that makes her think of me.

The memories are just ROLLING in with this picture. Wow.

My neighbor had this house! I had forgotten it, but seeing that picture has sparked so many memories. Thanks!

“But soft, what light through yonder window breaks?”

I had this Barbie! She was FABULOUS!

*sigh*

Did you really just compare the effort of ejaculation to the effort of pregnancy and labor? There are arguments to be made for hyphenation or whatever (and OP said that she’s open to options like that), but “But you still needed him to get you pregnant” isn’t one of them.

He’s very hit-and-miss, in my opinion.

It’s times like these that even though my brain doesn’t believe in vigilante justice, the rest of me . . . does. My brain knows that due process and the rule of law are essential for society to function, but the rest of me just wants somebody to dish out some justice with their fists. Or possibly a tire iron.

Yeah, I realize that the Daniel Holtzclaw trial was in an entirely different country, but this idiotic ruling has totally killed my buzz from watching Holtzclaw cry. Now I’m the one crying. Sometimes it feels like there’s no progress; there’s only swimming against the riptide.

My ex used to do this. It’s not the reason I broke up with him, but it was a symptom of a larger problem with communication.

Yeah, just shrugging and saying, “Eh, his life would probably suck anyway” as he died would be pretty awful. He deserves as much of a shot at life as anybody else. Babies can be pretty resilient, there’s no telling what his quality of life might be.

Oh yeah, we had credit goals we were supposed to meet. In fact, my first credit card was a Kohl’s charge—usually you have to have some other established credit before they’ll let you open one, but since I was an employee, they let me get one.

7th grade science class, my teacher turned on the radio for the verdict.

I was in my 7th grade science class. My teacher let us turn on the radio to hear the verdict read. Up and down the halls, you could hear the cheers of the black kids and the groans of the white kids. There were no fights though, which for my school, was kind of amazing.
