The poo, of course, is collected through a guide. I am in awe of anyone who can find those 900 bastards by themselves, but I sure as hell am not one of those. Long live interactive maps!

I was thinking the same thing (your second point). I would be really curious to see that contract.
If the 4K77 folks can put together a very solid version of the first and third films (they’re still working on Empire AFAIK) then it seems logical that Disney, with their insanely vast resources, could put out a properly restored re-release if they wanted to, even if Lucas burned all the negatives.
The lawn chair and the cold coke was the final act that started with the crew who blocked my street and dismantled my dead 40 foot tree, reaching over my 6 foot fence. I have lots of pictures, lots of memories of the tree, ranging from climbing, to trimming away from the house, and raking the leaves for decades. Now I…

The prevailing theory isn’t that we now have the technology to keep “weaker” babies alive, but that there have always been people who are on the spectrum in some way, and we just didn’t realize it because we didn’t have the knowledge or diagnostic tools.
Maybe it’s just a feature of diversity and don’t worry about the fact that there a lot of people out there whose brains work in a different way from yours. Everything will be OK, or at least - no worse than it’s been up til now.
Dangerous thinking. What on earth makes you think that autism wasn't a trait endemic, surviving, and thriving in the population pre-healthcare? There are a lot of useful skills and traits that autistic people tend to excel in that neurotypical folk struggle with. The narrative that autistic people are somehow damaged…
No we are not
it has been historically underdiagnosed and is still underdiagnosed in girls
There’s a real psychological impact to that number—my parents never made $100K together, and the idea that one person could make that much is still pretty wild for most Americans.
