Not completely true. I saw some former students of mine on who were Bernie Bros actually admit on Facebook that they screwed up and should have voted Clinton instead of 3rd party.

That is a very interesting article! I wonder if I can get my beef certified “Blue State Grown”. :^)

Yes, but I think most of the food we eat comes in large part from the red states.
(I am a blue person who grew up on a farm in a red state.)
So it might be more likely that we would starve...

Ok, lemme hear those fish, sheep, and deer jokes...

What do you call a cow with or broken leg?

I am 10:30 or 11 to 5 am. I usually wake up sometime during the 4am hour and cat nap a bit, or think over what I am going to do for the day.
My parents were early risers as well, and would sit at the table drinking coffee before beginning their day. I don’t know if it is genetic or just a product of my environment.
Also,

Yes, and if you just started investing during the downtime of the market from a few years ago, you have returns that are much greater than that.
It may be true that the days of 7% are over (I don’t think everyone is ready to say that yet, and I am still young enough that I am not ready to get out).

I agree that I think this gets easier with age and routine. I am finding I need less sleep too. That said, my wife is finding the opposite. She is tired all of the time. We have had medical tests done and nothing is ever found.

The stock market generally gives 7% over the long haul. Of course, recessions vary that.

Same for me, but I know not everyone can do that.

I am glad you can feel proud again. I have kept boys in it (they enjoy it but are getting older) because I genuinely like most of what is taught. I am going there were several like me that were then able to voice my opinions when we were surveyed about allowing gay leaders. I was proud of that decision then and felt

(Not a member of LDS, but involved in Boy Scouts).

I agree with you. One of my best friends growing up, who has a daughter with some issues that has needed some surgeries, votes Trump. I am sure he and his wife are barely scraping by, and i am sure he hasn’t felt his life improved over the pst eight years. He is Most definitely not racist, is a great father, and

There is some truth to not caring about norms and traditions. But I also have friends who I know voted for Trump (as sad as that makes me) that I know don’t share his personal views (they are awfully silent on things now). They felt so frustrated by “no one looking out for them,” and the gridlock of Washington that

But doesn’t your point of view also reinforce El Zurdo’s idea that he shouldn’t be “the one” representative for Mexican Latinos and that his white friends shouldn’t look to him as the expert?

In the vein of a serious conversation...
When does/should character interfere/overshadow your accomplishments?
Should it ever?

No, they are well aware, and they are complicit. They just don’t want to announce those things publicly--these are the things people say when they are with their “own kind”.

I don’t think Stan Kroenke was the majority owner at the time of the Rams. Georgia Frontiere was the owner during that run, and you commented, we rarely heard from her. It was only after she died that Kroenke bought majority share and proceeded in running the team into the ground so he could move on to a great deal in

And it ain’t over yet! While I laugh at these articles, I am hoping to laugh a whole lot more with some STL play-off wins...just a few to make these guys even more bitter!

So correct in this assessment.
