I have recently (last year or so) gotten interested in dutch oven and cast iron skillet cooking. I seem to find that if I can just let heated water soak in the skillet, the stuff usually comes right off (I try to do this as soon as I am done cooking in it).

That is awesome! My sons and I just built our last pinewood derby cars together—it is on to Boy Scouts next for the twins. We built a bunch of cars for this last race (there is a family race and it had a "turtle race" for the slowest car to finish the race as well).

I used to feel that way I beat Myst back in the day with no help. The next one (Riven???) I needed help with one puzzle and I felt horrible about it, and vowed not to do it again. Now, as an adult with two kids, a job, and so many other commitments, I have only so much free time. I had never played Ocarina before, but

Do you think Carl might turn into Roland Deschain's ancestor? I know it is two completely separate intellectual properties, but how amazing would it be if these events what lead to the world of the Dark Tower? (I know, there is something about magic missing, but still...)

My thoughts exactly.

If it is of any consequence, the LEGO sets for this movie include an "attack of the wargs" set. My son has told me about it several times. In fact, seeing the LOTR LEGO sets got him to read the entire series over the summer.

Did anyone read "Tatua" and immediately think it might be a re-boot of Fantasy Island set in Canada? No?!?!? Just me, huh.....

I had that same thought, and I completely agree with you. Shut out the demons AND the angels.

I really liked it too, and after reading your review, I wondered if it was because I had never seen Chronicle or Teen Wolf (the new one, of course).

I would be Mel Blanc. Just so much range and voices that have a special place in my childhood. I imitated him all the time when I was a kid, and if I ever had to change my career, voiceover artist would be one of my top picks! That said, I do a pretty good Ernie/Kermit the Frog...gotta love Jim Henson and Co. as

Are the scenes of the suit acting on its own also foreshadowing or the beginnings of Ultron? (I am not THAT familiar with the Marvel U, but I seem to recall that sometimes Pym created him, and sometimes Stark did). This would be a good set up for later movies. (Maybe the Ant Man movies ties in with this?!?!?)

Your comment made me think of something...

What a great turn around!

The Cards have struggled with late inning comebacks by opponents all year. It would be great to see them win this with a comeback!

That pun had me grinning from ear to ear.

I just use Windows Media Center as my DVR, with a few ripped DVDs that I own. However, I am looking to stream my DVR recordings to another tv set, and I don't want the Xbox media extender. Is there a recommendation on which of these is the easiest to use (besides building another PC)?

This is off topic, but I have always appreciated your posts. That star is certainly still well-deserved, even though they no longer award them. You definitely add to to the community here (versus myself who just lurks and rarely ever posts).

Really for me, there is only ONE true Captain Marvel, but now DC wants to call him Shazam....I miss some big red cheese...

Ok, I gotta slug through it then. Those episodes are stuck on my DVR because I just can't get through it. I know how the Sofia search ends, so I guess I just need to get through it to get to the good stuff. I had considered dropping the show altogether, but now I guess I will watch on... Thanks for letting us know

I agree with you, serenada. Supernatural is still the only show I make dedicated time to watch. It isn't at its peak (and I think that is just due to how awesome the story line in seasons 4 and 5 was—it is difficult to top Armageddon), but I still enjoy it. The episode where Bobby gets his soul back, Dean as Death
