Agreed on Anamaniacs. I loved that show!

Agreed. The few DS9 episodes the concentrated on them were some of my favorites. Sure, they were enslaved, drugged-out klingons, but I still liked them.
Hmmm...good idea. I guess I will have to do a pre-emptive strike on that! Thanks for the heads up!
That falls right around my birthday. What do you want to bet my "birthday present" will be to take the wife and kids to see this abomination of a movie? SML
Agreed. Sam and Dean have both crossed plenty of lines (especially Sam). Of course, this could mean that the season would just be sort of a "re-tread" of the redeeming Sam season, but it could be from a totally different viewpoint.
Yeah, I agree with your reservations, but I decided that I like the benefits of the program too much to not have my sons involved (as long as they want to). I figure I can teach them right from wrong and tolerance, and fortunately, it seems like the local people I work with in the scouting program could really care…
That is brilliant!
I'll have to try the lemon juice with water in the microwave trick. I usually just put a wet paper towel or rag in the microwave and cook it for a minute or so. This does a great job of loosening up the particles and makes cleaning the microwave easier. Of course, the lemon juice would maybe help with the smell.
I'm pretty sure that is Hector Hammond.
I'm sure that probably was the intent, and many people have said similar things about people with whom they are angry. But as you said, what we tell our buddies in private is something different than in public, and FB is not private (you speak to the intent of FB as being private, but that is not how it is in…
I don't know, there were a couple of episodes that creeped me out. I can't remember the name, but the one were the children in the town were taking over (I think they had been switched out with creatures) really freaked me out.
I read the quote. I know the teacher did not die, and I seriously doubt the student actually intended for her teacher to die (but we really do not actually know her intent, do we?). In response to your over-reaction, I tried to look at the other side of the argument. It is obvious that you didn't.
Yes, we teachers are supposed to automatically know what is to be taken "seriously" and what is to be taken "srsly".
"Maybe he has super-digestion, and doesn't need to poop because he metabolizes everything. "
"How to use a bathroom is obvious,"
Yeah, but now that Illundiel mentioned it, that certainly could have been foreshadowing when Crowley told Cas not to underestimate the threat that the Winchesters are. We know that Sam loses the "wall", perhaps if Cas has something to do with that, I could see Dean being pushed into it.
Really? I admit, that would be pretty dark and with this show, you never know, but I LIKE Cas...I want him to learn that he can redeem himself (just like each of the brothers needed to).
I am at least as simple-minded as you (and most likely more so), but the mathematician in me visualized the right-hand rule for multiplying vectors and that when the "plunge" happened, the vector products produced an orbit in the opposite direction. At the very basic level, what I believe this article is referencing…
Exams are definitely a good reason. I know the school where I teach also just had prom the weekend before, so I bet there still might have been a couple of those going on as well. So exams for the schools about to be finished, and maybe something like prom for the schools that go a few more weeks???
Yeah, mine was a little different. Definitely had some younger people there (as well as myself and other 30+ somethings). The audience clapped at the end! I haven't been to a movie where the audience clapped at the end for a LONG time.
