@markchd: People have widely differing financial situations. What's 'ridiculously pricy' to you is amazingly cheap to others.

@Mark Greig: Who said it was cheap (in absolute terms)? It's cheap compared to the high-end TVs it performs like.

@fifteen_sunrises: Nice shot.

It sounds as though you can form slow sustained tones pretty well, but it's tough to play quickly. They were flatting pretty badly there.

@mdr5163: Yes, I agree that believing in something can help give your life purpose, but why does that something have to be supernatural?

@commandx: Sorry, this 'justification' for pirating makes no sense. If you download a file on the Internet, the company has lost the sale. That's money out of its pocket. Is it OK to sneak into a concert without paying because the artist still has the ability to play the music?

@TomXP411: 'Alright' is the one that gets me.

Wow, that might be the most annoying voice I've heard in a long time. I gave it about 15 seconds before killing the video.

@truthtellah: Serious question: how do you 'slowly' switch email providers?

@gonzilla: True. I just had an example of that. I shipped a phone to someone. After 10 days, he sent me mail asking when it was going to be shipped. I told him that that the delivery had been signed for five days before. I didn't hear from him again.

@Zaos: Did you hear the one about the termite who walked into a bar and asked "Hey, is the bar tender here?"

@evolutionxbox: It might sound right because it's become so common, but it's bad English. There's a lot of that going on.

@evolutionxbox: It might sound right because it's become so common, but it's bad English. There's a lot of that going on.

@evolutionxbox: The article has been changed by now, and is correct. You can't say 'was ran over'. That is never correct. You could say 'the car ran over the man' or 'the man was run over by the car'.

So all this convergence stuff is cool, and I'll probably buy something like this just to see what it's like, but re: Twitter, FB, etc., does everyone really feel the need to be in touch with friends every single waking moment? When I sit down to watch a movie, I want to watch it, not send comments to people.

@The Lab: I was defrauded by the seller of an ebay item. I had paid via Paypal, disputed the transaction and got my $2400 back very soon. No complaints here. I've been using ebay and paypal for years, but have always used a credit card for payments.

@nowayout: Sitting in my basement office, I'm sporting a -108. Woohoo!

@Dinosaur!: I agree, it's pretty good for a phone. The problem for me is that when I'm looking at a photo, I either consider it good or not, and I don't really care if it came from my phone or my camera.

@Jonny_eh: Totally understand. The new iPhone HDR feature is nice to have, but its output is just OK.
