Hey look I found the perfect place for it.

Ugh, just let it die already.

I agree. On the carefully manicured test course, it seems fine, but I’m worried how it might handle bigger obstructions out in the real world.

Couple of confusion points here. First, wouldn’t fins help stabilize at high yaw angles?

P2 Volvo S60/V70/XC90. Absolutely timeless looking cars in my opinion.

They should name these Montezuma’s Speedbumps because you’ll probably shit yourself after running over one.

i came here for this. thanks.

Now playing

every time I see that video, I instantly think of this.

Beat me to it. Have a star.

How about equally as ugly? Because neither one turns my bolts.

This will decimate all... especially if combined with FreeValve. If we have to, overnight parts from Sweden.

well its a spark controlled compression ignition. you can’t just leave words out.

So it’s not the fastest, most luxurious, most powerful, no the most technological, not the most recognizable, not the most beautiful. What exactly is someone paying 2.7 mil for? I guess it looks most like an older vision of the Batmobile before it became an AMRAP

no you

there is nothing good about this car’s design. it’s like someone saw a few pictures of an LMP-1 and said “yeah, like that but with less function and more stupid”

said nobody.

David, I just wanted to say thank you for actually summarizing the video content in your article instead of just posting a link and saying “go watch this”. There are many times that I am simply not able to watch a video when it is posted up on Jalopnik. Being able to read about it is greatly appreciated. :)

Agreed. Also seriously under appreciated: actual working utilitarian trucks.

The condition of the tires was certainly a factor, but speed was absolutely an issue; 80+ mph in a 45 mph zone? The car didn’t spin out of control and crash while it was rolling out of the garage doing 5 mph, now did it?
