It’s just venting. Instead of having an upstroke after the power stroke you just hold the exhaust vales open longer. Helps to have forced induction. The switch between 2 and 4-stroke would have to be controlled by the ECU and would probably happen during a power stroke since that’s the only ‘identical’ stroke they

Well the car wasn’t legal to drive in the first place because of emissions, that’s how we got here in the first place

They could start by centering the passenger compartment at about quarter point of the car length. I’m guessing that’s why the streamlined looking vette actually has a higher cd. It would almost be more aerodynamic going backwards

How much of this telemetry will big brother have access to?

I think there’s just no getting away from aerodynamics of a truck. The abrupt drop off going cab to bed and then the tail gate you’re facing similar aerodynamic loads once you’re up to speed as any other truck

That’s what I love about Rally series, they actually resemble cars you can get. Aren’t all the WRC cars street legal for example? And they can get away with that because they don’t drive flat paved tracks meant to test performance at the highest speeds, instead they are on narrow hazardous roads or sometimes “roads”

Well you can’t punch a meteor in the face, why get agro over something you have no control over

I’m guessing smaller farms can’t afford a small tractor and big tractor so they have to have just the big tractor?

So about 60 Amps then, seems reasonable I guess

Over 40,000 Amps

I’m doing this without pen an paper but doesn’t that translate to about a fuckload of Amps? We’re talking 40-45 thousand amps at 220V.

Damned if you do damned if you don’t. Production of both batteries and petroleum products has a footprint. One benefit I can see is pollution from electric power is more centralized (power plant) compared to lots of small sources roaming around. Then again I don’t know if that’s a concern out on the farm, the number

Educate me about tractors, is that enough range? How does that translate to acres tractored.

It’s got a Kia feel to it. It’s nice looking (except the hockey stick in the door) and seems fairly polished but still just a wanna-be trying to pass as a BMW. Might be a good car, might be a good deal, but that’s just the aura emanating from it. Still way more exciting than anything they’ve made since the second gen

Because that would only add to Buick’s boring persona. They need to build something that will excite people and capture their attention so that they can sell them their boring shit that they make money on

Oddly enough the word Jeep pretty much is a blanket word for rugged trucks and SUVs in Russia. Or was when I was a kid who knows what the kids are saying these days

When I work on the car I use equal parts tools and colorful language. So something that will cover up my swearing for the sake of the neighbors is probably a good start

Totally agree. I’m uneasy about plug and play systems on cars with this much risk but am really impressed by the accomplishment. Maybe Honda should buy up his operation and use his work for their cars. I trust features from factory way more than aftermarket, at least for advanced technology, not talking about custom

I mean damn, I had to get 50 hours before taking a driver licence test

Depends if it’s a wall of a racetrack or a wall of a local bakery store front. While it’s sad regardless the cars are marvels, they should be driven. If you can afford it then have at it. And after the wreck buy another one so engineers can keep getting paid to innovate further. Better in a wall than collecting
