Me too. Some part of me always felt that meeting a grown man who never saw me grow up or as his daughter and trying to form a close relationship was *not* going to go well. Especially as someone who didn’t have a good template of father/daughter to work from.

This kid is very stunted emotionally and he's mistaking simple kindness and parental love for sexual attraction. I feel bad for them both. This whole concept of GSA is super confusing and troubling.
The scientific evidence is so shaky and cursory on this. I feel like this whole narrative is being pushed about it without any real proof. Sure it is stigmatized and maybe that prevents research from occuring but stigma doesn’t also render it automatically true.
“GSA” generates lots of clicks, but had about as much actual scientific backing as “vaccines cause autism.” Ah well!
