That movie felt like a gut punch (in a good way) the first time I watched it (right after watching "Avatar" mind you ! ^^). He really was a driving force in it…!

I remember watching a 1993 movie called "Sniper" (with Tom Berenger playing the lead) about a USMC sharpshooter in some South American jungle.
Not a great movie by any stretch, but I was (given the cover art and the general quality of 90's war movies) surprised at how nice it seemed at the time.

I just finished watching the entire second season of "The Last Kingdom", and I recommend it (the third and seventh episodes in particular are very well made).
That made up for the very disappointing most recent season of "Vikings" (which I've given up on).

Well, the Swearengen character's comments didn't strike me as homophile at the time….so…

I am now waiting for those hoopleheads to label "Deadwood" homophobic for all the "cocks.ckers" uttered in various episodes of said show.

Probably the best lines uttered in a TV Show since "Justified" ended.
