To be frank, I'm more interested in the motivations of the Night King. Does he just want to rule because he wants to rule ? Is he a nihilist who wants to destroy everything ? Or are his motivations and purposes a little bit more subtle ?
I have a similar list, but with only two actors (films and tv shows).
Viggo Mortensen and Walton Goggins. ^^
I'm a secondary science teacher (including biology, geology, chemistry and physics) in the French school system, and I can only dream of earning that. I'm closer to $40,000 ayear, and even only because I work in french schools abroad. My colleagues who stayed in France are making, at most, $27,000 a year. Before…
Meanwhile, Viggo Mortensen has been, on top of being a prodigious actor, a quite talented painter, photographer, poet and musician for years.
Maybe he should induce in some pharmaceuticals and alcohol while on depression to get noticed by the mainstream media ? ^^
Thanks, I'll just keep on listening to Dire Straits' "Brothers in Arms". ^^
When you like the movie it is. ^^
It always seemed to me that they made more of a deal of the dog-killing than anything else…
"Drive" is a one and half hour movie that feels like a three hour movie. Beyond the efficiency of the plot, I think the pacing is awesomely managed. It reminded me of Kitano's work (especially "Hana-bi"), because of how the long (sometimes very long !) shots seemed to let the movie seep in rather than muddle your…
Stop it with the convoluted plots and over-present backstories. Movies like "Desperado", "Drive", "John Wick" are pleasant and efficient in part because the plot is pretty straightforward and there's not much backstory (or is it just me ?)…!
"Production stops for movie star injury, something it wouldn't have done for death of stuntman."
I've wondered for long why "Jackie Brown" was my favourite Tarantino movie…..myabe it has to do with Elmore Leonard being at the beginning of it all. I think that it always felt to me like the less "tarantino-y" of his movies.
Two sides of the same coin I guess ! ^^
For all its visuals and screaming and macho imagery and so forth, I don't think I ever watched that movie actually rooting for the Spartans or that particular depiction of their society. Seemed like fun for the sake of fun at the time.
I guess if they provided a woman head on a goat's body, there a little bit of something for everybody…
Got bleached together then ?
To be fair, he may only be white because of the cocaine haze…
Nicely put (yeah, yeah, pun intended ! ^^).
I'm still using "Commenter in Chief" mostly, but I'm adding that one too ! ^^
Learnt that when in the Sahara desert : hot and sunny day, put your gloves on before entering the car…
