While I agree that offline players will likely influence the numbers, I doubt it would make Skyrim surpass CoD in terms of numbers.

Except the online community is better on XBL.

When I'm not in an online match and am playing an offline game, I almost always log out of XBL. Especially with Skyrim- I don't want to be interrupted while I'm playing something so immersive.
