Uh, I'm 30 hours in and just met with the greybeards for the first time the day before yesterday. I have not done any of the rest of the mainstoryline.
Guitar Hero is a good example. All of those games look the same, but they sold well.
I would say it's more likely that we'll get an entirely new engine (to be fair, they do significantly tweak the engine with each iteration) until we get a new console.

I agree. For me, walking is better than riding in Skyrim.
Mine seems impervious to dragons for some reason. I just assumed they programed it that way so you didn't always lose your horse in every dragon fight.
