i'm sad too, one of my favorite genres of literature is fantasy series … and so so often when they try to write an 'independent' and 'tough' female character, they just throw themselves headfirst into this trope without a trace of irony

and if it comes from an unwanted source, we can just call the woman crazy/ugly/stupid until she shuts up

that was such a dad joke that i had to upvote

far be it from to cast aspersions on people impersonating clergy in order to fulfill some sexual fantasy

must be, as its very obvious that rule #1 is not "do not talk about MRA club"

feynman has nothing on the raw sexual tyrannosaurus that is dr. hawking

she correctly diagnoses cancer and subjects sludge to months of chemo

she's not only attainable, she is the grand prize awarded after you slay the dragon/solve the case/get the promotion/stand up to your inner demons

i'm confused, is sistermaryfrancis a man, or are there two people in the room?

its kind of like the 'advice' they give about writing in high school and college courses where they tell you to avoid repetition, for example never keep repeating 'he said' 'she said' etc, which turns prose into monstrosities like 'he expostulated' 'she breathed' etc …

not enough monocles being dropped into glasses from shock though

i hope that works for men, because i am the furthest thing from athletic

did you turn on the dick-light?

they'd be lying down … on the casting couch

you see, if we hyper-focus on a few instances of sexualizing men, we can draw a false equivalency that totally makes it okay to continue over sexualizing women therefore never having to change

thats a lot of words used to no real effect

so she has legs that go for miles and miles but ultimately lead nowhere?

i do love how every description boils down to 'sexy, attractive woman' … its not just that theres no personality, there's nothing else but 'attractive' written a few different ways

i too am a raw cynical farce

impeded by what?
