True, though I’d imagine he actually pays his lawyers since he likes to use them so much.
And it’s an easy paycheck!
I’ve never had an issue with going to comprehensive only when storing a vehicle. Most insurers are fine with it even if your state requires liability, you just need to make sure you don’t drive that vehicle at all while without liability.
I get that, and I think there should be a time limit to how long an emergency can last (maybe a year or two)...but this actually is something that could be considered an emergency given that nearly every scientific study is concluding we need to act now.
Look, I don’t know all the details on how this would play out, but I know President’s have A LOT of authority and leeway when it comes to national emergencies. There’s a lot that could get accomplished without even spending trillions like you suggest.
So what? Get the ball rolling, once it is, that momentum will be harder to stop than getting it started through Congress.
I want to see Biden declare a climate emergency and enact all the necessary reforms from the executive branch. This is actually something that can be considered an emergency (unlike Trump’s fake border emergency) since we know delayed action is just going to make things worse. I wouldn’t trust Congress even if the…
The military isn’t as red as you think, especially for Trump.
I recently finished reading the book “Slave Nation” and this quote struck me enough that I wrote it down,
This is what bothers me the most. Not that the people who voted for Trump last time did so again, but that millions of American’s who didn’t bother to vote last time went through the last 4 years and thought, “Yea, you know what, I do want more of this”.
It’s more like I am amazed that people buy $40-$50k vehicles without batting an eye. I make decent money, but adding a $700 payment would be stressful as hell. But then again I am putting a not insignificant portion of my wages into retirement plans, which many Americans seem to fail at doing.
Seriously, that’s my mortgage payment. I can’t imagine spending that much a month on a vehicle.
THEY KILLED PONTIAC BY STARVING IT TO DEATH BEFORE PUTTING A BULLET IN IT’S HEAD.
I don’t see how pulling into the intersection blocks the view of the people behind anymore than it would staying behind the line. And it sounds like the accidents are not from “claiming the intersection” but from idiots behind the lead car just going for it instead seeing if it’s clear first.
That’s dumb. The whole reason to do that is to make sure at least a few cars can make the left turn. At a busy intersection without a dedicated turn light you would probably have a very hard time getting through the intersection at all if you are following the letter of the law then. You can’t enter the intersection…
aside from the accepted habit where people making left turns will park in the intersection
I’ve replaced the spring on my garage, it’s not difficult, you just need to take your time and keep clear of where the tensioning bars might fly if you lost your grip. I get it though, there is A LOT of stored energy in those springs and it is dangerous if something goes wrong.
