I voted CP and I know what the market on these is. My CP vote is for this vehicle AND the market for these.

The 7.3 was designed with a 350k mile B50 life (meaning 50% of engines will need an overhaul by 350k miles)...so at 300k it’s starting to get up there, BUT...
I regularly tow large utility-style covered trailers with my Silverado and its small V8 that gives me, even with the trailer, mileage in the high-teens
I missed out on buying one a few years ago for $4000. It had over 300k miles too, but was in very good shape (not as good as this one though).
Anyone voting CP hasn’t looked at what a 7.3 Excursion commands on the market. This is pristine if a little high on mileage.
One can buy a .50 cal rifle and armor piercing rounds for around $2k. Put a dozen or so holes through it and it will get removed anyways for way cheaper than a cruise missile. Besides, why waste a cruise missile on that?
Or if they will only give you a price based on financing...just make sure there is no pre-payment penalty and pay off the loan shortly after purchase.
No, that IS the ugly cake
Seriously, why people go without comprehensive on anything other than an absolute shitbox is beyond me. Comprehensive is the cheapest part of insurance.
Thus creating demand for more Nissans...it’s just good business you see.
That part stuck out to me too...it seems we never learn anything from history.
I actually sold a truck to someone who paid with a check from a personal loan...I was a bit iffy on it but verified the funds ahead of time with the issuing bank and held on to the title until the funds cleared. Then we met up again an finalized the deal.
No more fucking bailouts..
I don’t hate Harley, I hate Harley’s leadership for the last 2 decades. Their heritage is racing and they completely abandoned that beginning in the 00s. The VR1000 looks fantastic and apparently was a fantastic bike that was just a little down on power compared to the competition. I wish they had sold a street…
He who smelt it, dealt it
Tale as old as time.
I had this happen to me last fall. It was a 2-lane one way where the other one way was on the other side of the block. I can see how someone could make the mistake, but damn it scared me and made me question if I was wrong for a minute.
Buy the working engine for $1000. Store your number matching engine properly this time and keep it. If it’s ever worth having a number matching engine you can rebuild it at that point while still being able to drive the Golden Eagle.
