Keep cars for fun not out of necessity.
Keep cars for fun not out of necessity.
It’s not possible to lay down the rear seatback in cars equipped with the power reclining rear executive seats – you get one of those ’90s-style passthrough doors that’s just large enough to accommodate the ends of a couple pairs of skis (but probably not a snowboard, you barbarian)
That’s problem with modern vehicles, the incentive for a consumer to buy a smaller car isn’t there since there are diminishing returns for the consumer. When SUVs got 15mpg, jumping to something with 30mpg (15mpg more like your example) saves you $139 a month at $2.5/gal and 10k miles per year. That’s a noticeable…
Have you ever actually compared weights of old and new cars?
Definitely. He’s probably guilty, but the Japanese government being used as weapon to oust him is by far worse.
“more metal is more safe.”
Problem is that he probably isn’t innocent. It wouldn’t surprise me if this sort of thing is probably very common within corporate culture, just no one talks about or looks too closely.
They ended up with this result that basically violated introductory economics
For the base or mid tier models yes, but the top tier ones like the Quadrofoglio seemed to have a never ending stream of issues. And that really hurts brand perception.
Like I said, I’m not an EE, but is there really a difference between sending power to an incandescent bulb vs an LED array? It’s not like this array is doing anything like sequential turn signals.
Putting a circuit board in something as external and oft hit as a tail light still seems like a very stupid idea. This is also probably why the whole thing is glued together instead of screwed, to keep out as much moisture as possible due to the circuit board in there. I’m by no means an EE, but I still feel like it’s…
The LEDs are still just performing basic tail light functions from what I have seen. Even if the extra circuit board was necessary, I can’t imagine having one board up front and running wires to each light was more expensive than 2 boards, one in each light.
I didn’t even know this was a thing, cool.
This seems like a good way to have your kid hugging random UPS guys
This whole design makes no sense. It’s not like there were some legacy designs that did something similar that they carried over. This was intentionally designed this way. Whichever engineer decided the circuit board should be in the taillight itself should be taken out back and shot. As an engineer who knows how to…
And if you get a loan you can’t even surprise your spouse here in Wisconsin, state law requires banks to send a notification to your spouse if you take out a loan only in your name.
3rd gear: They already have a mid-size truck platform in the Gladiator...at this point it’s just a matter of designing a new body. And I’m not sure how PSA gives them more “synergies” to make a mid-size truck happen.
I watch F1, but if there’s ever an over opinionated self righteous bunch of purists it’s F1 fans.
I agree with all your points which is why I fear Biden as a candidate. Trump my be neck deep in the swamp, but Biden is still out there waist deep. We need a candidate who’s still on solid ground.
