I finally got the top half of the rear main seal out after cussing and hitting it for way too long. Apparently it should be relatively easy to tap on one end to push it through and out the other side. Well not this bitch. After many swear words and a broken brass punch I looked up other methods for extraction. I ended…
Like, quite a bit better, not even just a little
More and more stations around here seem to be switching over to E15 for the mid-grade fuel and at a cheaper price than regular. I put a tank in my big gas-aholic 2000 K3500 just to see if it would affect mileage. Unfortunately I didn’t notice this warning when I did that (noticed it the next time I was filling up).
If you click on the ad this photo of a Corolla doesn’t appear anywhere in it
Going through a bunch of stuff my mom saved and came across this. I was definitely a car nut early on.

Everyone is on the electric car bandwagon and while I think it probably will represent a good chunk of the future I doubt it will have a monopoly. But I’ve always thought (at least for the past 10ish years) that synthetic fuel would be a game changer. Imagine coming up with a process that pulls CO2 out of the air and…

Not sure what I did to piss it off
Apparently I’m a troll for pointing out discrepancies between an article on Splinter and an article linked to in said Splinter article.
No they aren’t all mine, the Cummins is my dad’s. I had to take a picture though because these three are probably the best truck you could buy in each weight class for each generation from each manufacturer. The ‘93 F150 has the 4.9 I6, the ‘01 2500 Dodge has the 5.9 Cummins, and the ‘00 K3500 has the Vortec 454. All…
Beach was busy yesterday. And had a gorgeous sunset to enjoy too.
It’s going to be a beautiful weekend on the boat for Memorial Day. Highs in the 80s all weekend.
I don’t think it is, but I stared at the Segal picture for a while deciding whether it was McMike’s work or not, that someone at Bloomberg picked up from a GIS.
There is so much going on here
