I respectively disagree (in some cases). I’m a marketing manager at a tech company. I asked the 5 year question to someone I was interviewing and they went into a long speel about how they wanted to have their own apparel line, fully operating in 5 years and it was their passion and commitment, etc. I think they

I think that comment was written on a tablet while floating on a surfboard off Newport Beach.

I admit, I do go with the polo and dress pants look sometimes at work. I never wear a jacket over it though. It’s only because the females in my office are always cold, so they crank the heat up and I do ANYTHING possible to cool off a little. Wearing a short sleeve shirt instead of a long sleeve dress shirt does

LOL, you think Christian Pulisic is going to be playing in any quarterfinals?

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT???? THERE’S 37 SPECIAL EDITION SILVERADOS FEATURING THINGS LIKE RACING STRIPES AND CHROME GRILLZ ALL DESIGNED BY HOMER SIMPSON HIMSELF. I CANNOT WAIT TO COLLECT THEM ALL.

Canadian Habs fan here (see thy name) and while I don’t come here specifically for hockey stories, I think Deadspin does a perfectly fine job and I don’t notice much bias nor do I give a fuck. I found the story on Nashville as a hockey city very interesting. I didn’t agree with every point in that story nor do I in

Lol wtf?

Gravity is so frustrating, it just keeps pulling me down.

Agreed. I’m only 5'11", but I always pay the extra 20 bucks or whatever to reserve an aisle seat even though I fit perfectly fine, even when the seat in front of me is fully reclined. I had ACL/MCL surgery in my right knee so it starts to get sore unless I can straighten it. If I sit on the aisle I can have it

Redesigning the seat to not recline really wouldn’t cost them shit and even if it did, they would EASILY recoup the cost a million times over by not having to pay for seats with recline mechanics.

That’s a dumbass answer considering people are (apparently) still bitching and moaning about the fact that you CAN still recline. If you have a problem with reclining seats it’s a problem with the airline, not the passenger in front of you.

Amen. When the person in front of me reclines, I’ve never felt any worse than “oh, damn it, they reclined their seat”. Then after about 10 minutes I’m used to it and it just feels normal.

Couldn’t agree more. It’s obviously super sad that Ventura passed away, but fuck did I wish Trout stormed the mound and choke slammed that little shit through the fucking Earth’s crust.

I fully admit I’m a Jays fan, but I maintain that I think it was ridiculous to get all bent out of shape by Bautista’s bat flip. It’s like doing a fist pump in hockey or spiking the ball after a TD or running and sliding after a goal in soccer....who gives a fuck. You just “scored” at the highest level of your

Some idiot I have on Facebook wrote a “who’s everyone cheering for now?” post. He’s from Vancouver and said he is probably cheering for the Sens ‘cause of Burrows, but: “it seems like everyone else doesn’t like Burrows anymore, now that he’s not on the Canucks”. It was so tone-deaf I wanted to climb through the

I’ve never been to Ottawa, but I’m so sick of my in-laws (who are from there) suggesting I get a job with the government and looking down on me because I don’t work there. They have the two boringest sounding, yet overpaying jobs I’ve ever heard of. That’s half the reason I’m cheering for the Pens.

I don’t know why everyone keeps saying they’re not selling out. My cousins live in Ottawa and they can’t get tickets if their lives depended on it.

When I saw the the headline I was thinking overtime for people working in the head office, limiting the amount of time teams can force them to work. I couldn’t believe my eyes that the NFL would do something positive for it’s workers and I guess I was right.

I heard Garth Brooks built a full arena in his backyard after the Preds’ first season.

When I was a teenager, I played on one of the best AAA Bantam (that’s 13-14 year olds) hockey teams in Canada. That was about 15 years ago. I remember getting destroyed by a team from Phoenix (though that was a travel team with kids from all over Arizona and other parts of the SW). I can only think it has grown
