On your first point, I'll accept you're being honest in your portrayal. However, as far as your comment on my second comment, I can't accept that you didn't think what you typed was baiting PC gamers. Even if that was never your intention, you've been around here long enough to know what the effect would be. Ah well,

Ahhh, can't say I've come across them. Personally, I stick to LotusClan and GTFO servers if I can. I don't know if they're a feasible option for you but may be worth checking out.

I don't think most PC gamers mind. If we were to compare this to the BF3-Origin shit though, it becomes clear where people have the problem - installing multiple programs that all act essentially the same and the fear that Origin having success will mean even more programs.

Yeah, fuck the haters! They don't know the TRUTH!

Whoa! What?! What's wrong with people with premium accounts (basically anyone that owned the game before it went F2P)?

I agree that everyone should be entitled to their own choice and there are a few suggesting he do one thing over what he prefers but I think what they're really doing is just pointing out that he could if he wanted to achieve the 46" TV + 5.1 setup.

They Usually are but no one ever ever really cares because 1. PC gamers are well aware of the fact and could care less what figures VGCharts has and 2. Console gamers don't care because there's no claim of the PC version selling more which is completely unbelievable and totally needs to be verified with VGcharts.

HURHURHUR! Console games done got better! Hurr!

I thought that at first too but surely not, Gabe isn't a stupid man after all, if the numbers were so much higher than other versions sales, he would have questioned whether the PS3 numbers were included. It could just be that the game sold more on PC. Hell, the same was true of Bad Company 2 for a while after release

I think thesircuddles is around here long enough to know exactly what his comment was going to bring - ie. PC gamers pointing out that you can connect a PC to a large, modern TV. The way it's worded is nothing but a taunt to PC gamers who thesircuddles has been more than ready to call elitist. I don't buy his

LOL @ all the PC elitists coming out of the woodwork thinking I was insulting their precious platform. Buncha' Gollum's with their precious'.

Not QQing man, lol. Just pointing something out.

What ViperVin is saying that he thinks that Steam should get a Cloud gaming service up and running to compete with the growing popularity of cloud gaming services like OnLive or Gaikai

That's FPS Doug, don't tell me you haven't heard of FPS Doug?!

Both these comments are win. Well played, good sirs. Well played.

I don't know about the sexy bit but hell yeah!

Fair point, there's certainly been some great improvements since Quake that negate the need to use the old code but you know the old saying "If it's broke, don't fix it". I know Valve have said they're not too interested in making an entirely new engine but I think we both know that they'll have to do so sooner rather

Sure hop on over to Press X or Die (link above), we're always ready to listen to criticism about the Kotaku editors, lol.

As a matter of fact, the general PC gaming market has been growing in size, not shrinking. Outside of Blizzard, Valve and a few console ports, you've got a whole host of PC developers releasing the kind of games that PC gamers want to play. Many of the biggest PC games are not free to play either.

I have to laugh about all the comments about graphics here. We'll scream that graphics aren't everything then turn around and comment on less than top-of-the-line ones. Ohhh, gamers, we're a funny bunch.
