Ah, that’s too bad. But I think it’s still special to have the OG! Like the PS2 Slim, the PSOne, PS3 Slim... they are smaller, sure. But the originals are still iconic! And I think the PS5 is the exact same thing.
I was unironically looking forward to this one. It seemed like I was the only one. And now that I’ve seen it.. I really enjoyed it. :( It was a bit slow at times, and it could have done with some more action perhaps. I was sad that the suited-up parts were relegated to two very short scenes. And I think the ending was…
There is no law that states an Xbox needs to look like a box, though. I just don’t like the aesthetic of the Xbox Series X/S and I like the aesthetic of the PS5... I’m not sure why you’re seemingly turning this into an argument about my opinion.
In what way does it look anything like a clitoris? Vagina I could see, but it’s a stretch.
I love the look of the PS5. I don’t think it’s fugly at all. The Xbox Series X/S on the other hand... while I don’t think they’re fugly, I do think they are bland and boring. They seem like function over form, primarily, which is fine. I know some companies want their devices to blend in, and the PS5 certainly…
A long-running joke for whom? Cavemen that don’t know how language works?
Tell me you have no idea how modern upscaling works without telling me you have no idea how modern upscaling works.
I had to double check that I didn’t accidentally stumble upon a review from The Root when I read that whole section. I was pretty appalled at how full-barrel he was gunning down all of it.
I have a grand total of 6 platinum trophies after playing over 600 games over the course of 17 years. So I would never have gotten a platinum on this game anyways. But it is still so odd that they would omit this from the current gen version.
I think “It didn’t” would have been more consistent with the reference.
I was going to buy it last night, but I decided against it. I remember how long it took Hogwarts Legacy to get a decent price drop, and I think Mortal Kombat 1 also got one pretty soon after release. So I’ll probably pick this up then. It won’t be too long to wait. They’re all published by Warner Bros, so I think…
Did I miss something? Is the person known for hating Arkham Knight? Because to me their message read more like an admission that, despite Arkham Knight being a good game, you could lob the same accusations of repetitiveness at it. At least, that’s how I read it, but maybe I’m projecting. I LOVE Arkham Knight. It’s…
Yeah, I was going to say the same thing, as well as just the basic gameplay. Fighting baddies over and over.... I think it comes with the territory. And these aren’t just issues with Arkham Knight, they are issues with City and Asylum, as well, in my opinion.
The way stocks have been going recently for tons of companies, I’m convinced there’s no such thing as a true blue chip anymore.
I wonder if people that buy that big boy edition now will get that $20 in-game currency compensation. Or if it’s one of those things you needed pre-ordered / purchased before the issue occurred.
I don’t think the internet has skewed my perception. My perception is just inherently naive. I am also probably projecting, I’ll admit, as everything I collect I keep. My apartment is bursting at the seams a bit as a result!
Haven’t you heard? We’re in the era of gaming where we don’t get New Game Plus on anything until 6 months or more after release. It’s one of the most bizarre trends I’ve seen in gaming, and I don’t understand the point. Why not have it from the start?
For me, I bought all the SAW X popcorn buckets and drink things because I collect merchandise for the series. For huge fans, I think it can be another fun thing to collect. And for collectors of popcorn buckets that are franchise agnostic, it’s something they have fun with, too. I don’t see the harm, really.
What waste is it causing? Novelty popcorn buckets are pretty big right now, people are buying them, some are using them, some are reselling them. It has a premium upfront cost so I don’t think anyone is buying it just to use it once and throw it away, if that’s what you’re implying?
