Sold 7 million copies, or 7 million players? There’s a big difference. I know the tweet text says 7 million copies sold, but the picture says 7 million tamers (players).

I think what he does and achieves for others with his resources is extraordinary. What I don’t like is that every single thing has to be an event or video. He doesn’t seem to do any philanthropy quietly. There always has to be a video, and then the gross part is when he asks the people he helps to say “Subscribe to

I always equate “scam” to “money.”  If they didn’t earn money, I don’t see it as a scam.  But I said in another reply that my definition of a scam is perhaps not respectful to the full scope of its meaning.

Yes, but I guess I’m thinking in terms of making money off of those false pretenses.  If everyone got their money refunded, I’m not sure how it would be considered a scam.  But maybe a scam can be more than just monetary?

I was under the impression that all people received refunds / will receive refunds no matter if they activated it on their end or not?

I’m confused how it was a grift or scam if everyone got their money refunded?

I was just wanting to make people know that I am aware it is not relevant to the scope of the conversation, but I have never really had an opportunity to get others’ thoughts on the phenomenon.  I thought it was a good opportunity.  That’s all.  Thank you for your feedback, it’s very kind :)

I know this has nothing do with the content, but why tf is every YouTuber holding a microphone now? I swear this started gaining way too much weird traction over the last few months. Every video I see: holding a microphone. Even people that didn’t use to hold microphones are holding the microphones now.

Ah, yes, who could forget the classic PlayStation 1 game, Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection, celebrating the smash hit franchise that premiered in 1967.

At least before 9 we had a sliver of hope that they knew what they were doing with an overarching story.”

At this point, I would say no.  It’s been too long.

I would venture a guess that he is absolutely right. It would cost a lot of money to bring in the likenesses and songs of people, old and new. And I don’t think a new Def Jam would be popular enough to warrant that sort of cost.

Harmonix. Still releasing Rock Band tracks weekly, coming up on 9 years since the original hiatus.

Regarding the Labor of Love thing, I wouldn’t be surprised if most people didn’t read the criterion for it. Without that context, it just sounds like a game that had a ton of passion and care poured into it. Red Dead Redemption 2 still sells extremely well, especially during sales like these, so there was probably a

I like to imagine those same people dogpiling on a company celebrating a 40-year anniversary in 4 years. “Founded in 1988 and still running!”

What’s the N word?

The lady doth protest too much, methinks

This has to be the stupidest meme I’ve seen in years.  And that’s saying a lot.

I saw that last night and I was devastated. I love those games and they seem primed to be loved by so many people. It really sucks. So it makes sense they would focus on making Marvel games since they make all the money. It’s just a real shame. This latest Ratchet & Clank game is so good. I do wonder how much it would

Or just retire.  His pretentiousness is getting to unbearable levels.
