I wouldn't be surprised if they were: A.) being pushed to 20hr shifts to meet launch deadlines, B.) being pushed again to change up the code because of no more DRM to meet the launch deadline, or C.) both A and B with the decision to package 2+ discs or distribute the payload digitally instead for cheaper.

yeah the 06 was a let down. One of the sex appeals about this version is what you just said, rarity, and the fact that it was different from the bast model (since it was the foreign civic body style). I own one of these and I love it to death except for a few minor details. The engine is underpowered (when compared to Canada/UK's version or the almighty Type R), the body was missing some key components (bumpers, side skirts, etc), and it had 4-lug 15'' wheels instead of 5-lug 17''. I can't believe this actually was…
