The Federer backhand is an awesome development. The best player in the history of the game still improving at 35 years old. Quite inspiring.

Does wearing a mouth guard in a rec league get the “look at this guy” treatment sorta like wearing eye black at a company softball day?

I think this was one of the first arrival stories from the Washington Post

Ooh, does he have a stat measuring the impact of opposing players wearing almost identical outfits, all the way down to the socks?

Giri, your AO coverage during the fortnight was excellent. Thank you. And I agree with you that Federer’s backhand has never looked better, which is simply astounding.

I never would have thought Fed’s backhand could be such a crosscourt weapon against Rafa! So much so that Rafa abandoned “the plan” and attacked both wings equally. I thought each guy was great at times, marginal at others. Not quite their prime selves. But that is no big surprise I suppose. Congrats to the Swiss.

“He’s got a lot to learn about kinesiology before he’s ready for the NBA.”

Why does this have so many stars? Fuck you, you piece of shit.

idk I like ‘um a lot.

Was literally the most defining one on my mind while reading through this entire article. Crying shame that they didn’t put this trailer in the DVD/BluRay features. It remains one of the best I’ve ever seen.

did anyone watch the full 6 minute clip?

Here’s a compilation of Trundle doing cool, tricky shit before kicking the ball out of bounds or passing it to a teammate who then kicks it out of bounds.

The end is the beginning is the blue dong.

Was going to post this, but wasn’t sure if “alternate version by the same /original artist” counted. The beautiful irony, of course, is that The Beginning is the End is the Beginning was originally from Batman & Robin. Or maybe I have it backwards. Either way, the Watchmen version is so much better.

I mean....a penalty by rule  but I’d stop short of saying a HUGE blow to the head, and I woudl. I’m no Cowboys fan, but I’m kind of ok with THAT kind of play being let go with the game on the line.
