Reading data from a game from disc would be EXTREMELY slow compared to reading data from Hard Drive. Period.

It’s not that way anymore ... you can literally play this game as a single player Elder Scrolls game that just happens to be online.

Morrowind is by FAR my all-time Elder Scrolls favorite .... also enjoyed Oblivion and Skyrim, they are their own “type” of Elder Scrolls RPG .... but Morrowind was the best in my opinion.
