Well day 1 on GTA Online was completely broke so that's hard to believe anyone was playing day one.

Are you sure you are each in your own Invite-only lobby. Has to be invite-only, and by yourself to start.

So you base whether you want to play a game or not based on "predictable load times", sounds like you just want an excuse to NOT play, and say "I need predictable loading screens or I'm not playing GTA Online", seriously sounds like a man-child crying.

I have a similar problems, getting 3 other friends on is not hard, its getting them all on at the same time, with enough time to do setups and the heist is the problem. So yea, sitting in the lobby sending out "auto-invites" is pretty boring. They need some type of matchmaking.
