You're not supposed to like Walter White anymore. That was the point of the show, and why the studios wouldn't pick it up. They thought it was brilliant, but thought people wouldn't watch because the main character was basically a bad dude.

Yes. It's an incredibly experimental show from all angles. From characters, sound, direction, tone, it's all very different than everything else. And the acting is the best on TV.
