I didn’t know it either until I listened to the podcast. It’s a really upsetting story and it’s widely misunderstood. I hope they represent it accurately in the movie.

To be clear, Jessica Hahn did not “have an affair” with Jim Bakker. She was flown across state lines by one of Bakker’s associates and then raped by both of them.
So, basically, “African Queen” meets “The Mummy”, right?

That point about female anger is spot on. The film does a great job of showing how powerful…
Dear lord. I hadn’t thought about that until now.
What do we think the story line is going to be? I’m assuming it’s going to be “Preludes and Nocturnes” if Roderick Burgess is involved.
Is no one going to mention the Bill Nye appearance?
Every time I see something about the movie “Peppermint”, I think of Bob Odenkirk.
Jim Cummings as Darkwing or it’s not canon.
Fully agree. Better script. Better acting. More creative musical numbers. Although it went full Dewey Cox at the end.
Best wishes to him and his family. My mom’s been diagnosed with different strains of lymphoma three times and each time she’s made it through to remission. It’s not fun, but, depending on the type and when it’s detected, it can be effectively treated.
Bite your tongue, sir. Nashville Skyline is a got-dang classic!
“Fourteen Explanations How”?
My thoughts exactly.
That Netflix movie looks so goddamn stupid, but I will watch it because Rachael Leigh Cook is my forever-crush.
I hear Nolan is actually creating a show for Peacock next.
Sounds like one of those soul-shattering experiences.
