I do think having the score tied rather than behind does give the person a boost psychologically. Additionally, we have no idea if AZ’s offensive gameplan changes if they’re behind by one. Perhaps they push downfield even more, perhaps they attack the middle of the field less. Who knows.

To be fair, Haushka making the XP changes the dynamic of the whole situation so we have no idea if the Cards would’ve proceeded differently.

I would say Dead Rising is a callback to old games that required multiple playthroughs before you mastered it.
