The thing is, you always want speed. And as of right now, the only other character who provides a speed boost is Ana and that’s only through her Ultimate.

There are still some portions of the map where having 2-3 Bastions can wreck havoc.

The thing is, most good teams stick together. Yeah, Genji and Tracer will be out there but that’s the entire point of their characters. That’s the reason that Zarya is picked so often, because she can run her particle barrier on both herself and someone else and quickly have her gun reach 100.

She isn’t used much because her biggest strength (walling off certain areas) can only be utilized on 2 maps. Hence why on those two maps she has 100% pick rate on defense and why on those two maps she has over a 60% win percentage and this is at the highest level of team comp.

The thing is, 70% increase is still 70% increase and no other character offers the ability to ferry people like Lucio.

Yeah, but on certain maps, she can severely limit him. Her turrets act as a wall of death as he can’t dash through them and can’t deflect them.

Tracer’s hard because she can recall the discord orb and any damage you did.

The Zenyatta nerf on Orb of Discord was needed. With a decent team, you could effectively team wipe by continually switching it onto different players and watch their health drop like flies.

You think that’s bad, trying being Ana and having to heal a complaining Pharah or Tracer or Genji.
