Knew right when this was written there was going to be:

They always could “animate” woman, and by “animate” I mean simply replace the male model with a female and share the same animations (like Elise in Unity or Aveline in Liberation). However, that’s really janky and does a disservice to the women character.

On the flipside, we have Bethesda, a relatively small team (85 or so people) that also has long development cycles, who have been criticized for not expanding their team because their games feel barely held on by glue and duct tape.

While there are issues, games such as Child of Light would not have happened if Ubisoft didn’t have Assassin’s Creed making them a lot of money.

That’s completely ignoring the ability to use powers such as Blink or Possess to reach vantage points you would otherwise be unable to, but ok.

Far Cry has a great open world map....although Watch Dogs isn’t great and Assassin’s Creed is rather hit or miss.

Dishonored has good stealth and it’s a 3D game....it just a big combination of level design, sound design, AI design that has to flow naturally.

Probably because Obsidian likes their independence and working on various RPGs.

Obsidian had 11 months to make New Vegas. The fact they even had a playable game is astounding.

If we want to go there, we would’ve just said ZeniMax

I can’t imagine trying this on Veteran....

I have no qualms with it. I just find it interesting how, while others have moved on in terms of technology, Williams refuses.

For me, the interesting part is that John Williams still composes music on his piano with pencil and sheet notes. Most everyone else uses a computer that can simulate the notes, if not the orchestra.

I’m not that surprised. Think of any professional sport, like basketball or baseball. These guys are the absolute cream of the cream of the cream of the crop. And yet we say that Javale McGee “sucks” even though he’s in the NBA.

Andy Murray is like Andy Roddick. If everything bounces their way, they can win an Open. Maybe even 2 or 3. But that’s if everything bounces their way. Otherwise, they’re in the category of “very good, but not quite elite”.

The main issue with being dunked on is that it usually is because the big man was either late or came in on a transition and simply was caught in the crossfire.

I don’t get Chipotle. It’s watered down American-ized Mexican food, which itself is watered down Mexican food. Like, if a town has any actual Mexican restaurant, why would you choose Chipotle?

Alright, Forrest Gump, Shakespeare in Love, Crash, Dances with Wolves, Driving Miss Daisy, The Departed, Chicago, Rain Man and that’s off the top of my head.

Slumdog is one of those films that was able to ride the hype train just enough to win, only for everyone to forget about it now and be all “Wait, Slumdog won?”

I’m a baseball geek so Moneyball was exactly everything I wanted in a sports film and then some.
