I like the interpretation that the Force simply is, and it’s the people that use it that are good or evil. It aligns a lot more closely with my own beliefs. Of course I’m not saying that’s how the Force works in the movies/books/EU, just that I think it would be cool if it did after thousands of years of Jedi and Sith

Except for what his age is. And how he ages at any other time in his life except for those two months. Not that I actually care about those things. I just came here to nitpick for no good reason other than it’s early.

I think Gilbert Gottfried should play Iago again.

At least it was candy.

A well-written and enjoyable article.

I came to the comments just to see if anyone else thought this too; wasn’t disappointed. Your username is great too!

Of all the hundreds or maybe thousands of deities out there, I can’t think of a single one that would be likely to keep your plane flying just because you asked nicely. I would just assume the proper bracing position - bend over and kiss your ass goodbye.

They should have said something along the lines of it being very difficult or something, since someone with physical access to the machine can probably always do just about anything they want. If the *only* way to install ransomware is for the user to first defeat the OS, then I would say this basically counts. It’s

I came to this article just for a GLaDOS reference. You didn’t disappoint.

The news isn’t just breaking, it’s broken.

It’s gross. I hope whoever stole it fled the country. I don’t want it here. Hopefully he goes back for the remaining toes. I also hope it’s a fake toe. I find it hard to imagine where one would be able to get a toe legally. People that donate their organs and body parts are only donors for transplant or science as far

I did a report on mountain lions in grade 6, which would be like 16 years ago, and part of my report was that they’re relatively skittish and will *usually* run away if you make yourself look intimidating by picking up some large branches or something and yelling. And it’s not as though I was reading Nature or Science

Agreed, but I am a fan of Newton’s Flaming Laser Sword.

It’s China. They’re a lot more lax there with some of the rules. Not that that’s *always* a bad thing, since some research can move forward faster, but you end up with stuff like this happening which may not be ethical.

Not a problem. My engines are only made from the finest balsa wood.

This times a billion.

I really liked the Command and Conquer games - Tiberius wars and red alert I think. Although I have no idea if those are considered to be good games by other people. I’m probably not a good person to judge though because I just like seeing if I can build an impenetrable base with hundreds of turrets arranged in pretty

They were considering it but ultimately rejected it for being too mean.

Women certainly have been underrepresented for a long time, and often are even today which is a travesty. I do however wonder if we should be tipping the scale to the female side in order to “make up for lost time” or if aiming to strike a balance is better? Certainly there have been men-only things in the past, so in

I thought Edge of Tomorrow was boring and cliched. It seemed obvious to me from nearly the beginning how things were going to go. And they threw out all the rules that had been established for how the time travel worked, just to bring the love interest back at the end, and for what reason? The love story was a bit
