Never, ever, ever stop taking Effexor cold-turkey, especially if you’ve been on a high dose. You end up seeming like a Heroin addict going through withdrawal (flu-like feeling,scratching, sweating, etc), with a very unpleasant attitude to boot. Luckily, my SO’s Dr. got her off it by weening.
