Technology is great—when it works. Our local Walmart tried self-checkout lines about 6 years ago. They were abysmal and went back to regular cashiers within a year. Last year they got 8 new self-checkouts and they do wonderful—except for if you’ve got like 3 buggies full of stuff or something.

You’re right. I mean, trying to make him say the pledge is one thing, but this teacher got physical for no reason. Definitely sounds like assault to me. Add another lawsuit for the school not notifying the cops and having this teacher arrested in order to assure the safety of the children.
