Thank you. Reading what the NY Times wrote regarding the issue actually confused me. What you said is how it is done and should still be done. That’s the accepted norm when you don’t know the sex of the person or the sex is not important, so using it to refer to non-binary people makes sense. In fact, this is a

Yep. My technical writing teacher spent the 1st part of the semester forbidding us from ever writing in passive voice. Learning the appropriate times to use passive voice is what was taught for the remainder of the semester.

Stop, you’re just giving his future lawyer ideas. He’ll just chalk it up to the old ‘Affluenza’ excuse.

Maybe if they just flipped it upside down, they could understand a little better like:

But is that case as heavy as a tank? I remember having an old Gateway 2000 that someone gave me...and the ‘2000' is NOT the year it was built in. I swear that case was bullet proof and would throw your back out if you even thought about moving it.

No. We NEED to forget RAMBUS. Forever.

This should get all the stars.

But, but, DeVos said it’s all bout parent choice...

I normally try not to hate people, but with DeVos I give an exception. DeVos and her agenda is, without a doubt, the most damaging aspect of Trump’s regime. She’s not just hindering out childrens’ education, but damaging our country’s future by extension.

This is the start of a funny SNL skit or a disingenuous attack ad.

I was just coming here to inquire the same thing.

I’m wondering this as well. Hell, that’s the whole point of expunging the juvenile records; but now her name and case have been plastered all over the media. How did this happen?

Hold up. You can’t just nonchalantly post a story about how they ripped off some of your labia and then come across like a sponsored ad for an epilator! We need details. Like, how mad/hurt were you? Were there screams? Blood? Did they offer your money back? How long did it take you to bury their body?

Had me excited too. Even after the ‘legs’ part, I was thinking, “Yeah man, but how good did it work on your face”?

McLovin!

Was this a public school? ‘Cause that’s ridiculous. Usually a dress code is implemented to decrease distractions/ensure safety, but unless you are painted up like Tammy Fae Baker, I don’t understand why makeup would be disallowed under a dress code.

I really think this system is ridiculous as it is. If it were a standard accepted at all colleges then I could, perhaps, see the point. But as it is, it really does look ridiculous.

That alone would be enough to get me to move up there just so I could vote.

I think it is more specifically when you have a white person in power calling it like it is, that is surprising. Kind of like the President of Colgate University. When racist shit happens, these people usually still have to be diplomatic and soften it up with terms like ‘relationship with the community’, ‘injustice’

Hey now, black people don’t have a monopoly on child abuse, I assure you! What’s sad is, she didn’t do this to discipline the child, she did it because it hurt her feelings.
