Did some of Walsh's players really despise him? I could see his professorial demeanor not being everyone's cup of tea (especially players who want an emotional, Pete-Carroll-like head coach), but he was so mild-mannered (and successful), that is seems weird anyone would despise him. My curiosity is piqued.
