It looks like a Kia.

Exactly. They expect someone else to buy the exact car they want new so they can buy it down the line for cheap while they type away in the comments section about their lack of options.

See, they bought auto’s, they had their ambassador and got the sales and the sales went to AT’s.

I don’t think that image you mentioned is where they (Mazda) want to be headed...and it seems like that’ve made that obvious.

They look great in person, but you can just tell that you can’t see anything out of it...which for someone like me is important.

I work in marketing and I can tell you that these decisions aren’t made by the marketing team, they’re made by the research/insights team that base their decisions based on data, market research, and focus groups.

It’s nothing special, it looks like a Kia engine.

I don’t know, it kinda looks like a Kia to me.

It just seems (to me) like the lazy comment to make is that every vehicle looks like a Kia.

I agree, it’s the default answer to similar styling elements.

How is it possible that the default answer to similar styling elements is “it looks like a Kia”?

The door handles are definitely weird...they follow the crease I guess?

I’m ok with the 400Z name, BMW stopped naming their cars after the engine displacement and that hasn’t stopped people from buying them.

Why do people buy expensive clothes over cheap ones?

B. True, but they pick up the car and drop it off...which is nice.

I agree, but I think that Genesis can easily compete, if not flat out dominate, Acura & Infiniti within 3-5 years. I don’t see them dethroning Lexus.

Jalops: all cars look this same! this is bad!
