Nothing to see here, just the Jalopnik writers at their finest.

I don’t disagree with you. However, my comment was specifically directed towards the “low effort and little to no research” comment by the author.
I simply stated why the car being blue is not “low effort and little to no research” by Stellantis.
I’ve gotta chalk this one up to low effort and little to no research on behalf of Stellantis’ marketing and design people.
As of late, it seems like Erik and Raph have decided to zero effort into their articles.

It’s the Jalop way, complain and hate everything.
You’re correct, they aren’t. But my point was that these small CUVs are essentially the small vehicles (albeit, lifted) that Erik loves to gush about. So, if that’s his cup of tea then the HR-V is the car for Erik. The market has spoken.
So yes not a single desirable car.
This seems to be your go-to comment on here. Get some new material, bro.
(Note: I’m looking through comments, and there’s people who feel I’m being too scornful about this test? Let me clarify from the start, then: despite the crash, this is still a remarkable achievement, and SpaceX undoubtedly learned a lot here. I thought that was clear, but here, I’m saying it again.)

Like I said before, the research teams at the places I’ve worked at are separate entities because they inform many teams and conduct research on behalf of many teams (engineering design, pricing, market share, media, PR and yes, marketing) as such they aren’t tied to any team, I’m sure there are exceptions to this due…
That’s not how it works. If research indicates that fake vents sell more then it’ll get added to the design. I’ll add that in my 10+ years as a marketer in all the places I’ve worked at, the research team is a separate entity from the marketing team, although we do use their insights for our campaigns. Marketing just…
Um, that’s not how marketing works. Marketing doesn’t dictate what engineering and design bring to life.
It’s a GV70...
Yeap! And it looks so much like an A5 of the same time, probably why it wasn’t made.
I still want one!
No, I genuinely find them ugly.
