That’s not an absolute. A happy immediate family can have just one parent, an unhappy immediate family can have two parents. I love that name, but my family moved from Germany to the UK, then to Ireland way back, so we still have some absolute corkers of names surviving. I called my son a really out there name for an English speaking country, but it's an old name in my family and anyway we live in Germany now, so all good :) 

Dunno, my son has a fairly flowery German name, he has been his nickname since the moment he flew out of me! He didn’t realise what his ‘name’ was until he was 3. But he knows both now, and he can stick with the abbreviation forever, or go flowery if it suits his lifestyles when he is all grown up :)

This is exhausting, I cannot believe they are having to go legal (with the BBC!) over this shit with a week old baby. I would just disappear if I were them, so toxic.
