The moment I decided MoS 2 was the headline, that picture had to be the header image.

It’s long been unclear who is the worse reporter: Clark Kent, who lies to his readers daily by not mentioning that…
Supreme Leader Snoke is both extremely dumb and yet also kind of cool (I love saying it out loud, the sibilance is delightful). It’s Sheev Palpatine. It’s Poe Dameron. It’s the Crossguard Lightsaber. By which I mean to say, it’s the perfect amount of silliness and coolness blended together that screams Star Wars to me.
It was apparently the move combined with poor sales of Convergence that lead to the losses. I believe general comic sales for DC are actually up from last year, to boot.
I am stupid and also tired. Should be fixed now, thank you!
DC’s revamp is not forthcoming, it’s already happened—that’s why it’s not in this preview.
Blah! Fixing that, thank you!
Oh! Damn kinja annotation. That’s America Chavez, the current Miss America.
Blue Marvel/Adam Brashear, a relatively new but still kind of low-profile hero. Former Mighty Avenger too!
Monica is awesome, and totally a favourite for comics diehards—but to mainstream audiences or people who aren’t regular comics readers, she (sadly) might as well not exist. We write backgrounders to cover that audience, not the people who already know Monica as the great character she is.
Yup, it mixed up with the Kamala/Robbie story in the credits. Should be fixed now, thanks!
A Japanese artist named Gurihiru. And YES. Loved the art in this story, it’s so lovely.
I kind of like that they’re just what you’d see for cosplay photos. They look like stuff taken from conventions, or from fan’s own photoshoots or whatnot. Adds to the homliness. But yeah, these are all such great costumes getting a professional shoot for them would’ve been a neat idea too! Definitely hope they do more.
As Gene Jacket says, the watermark won’t appear on physical or digital versions of the cover. It’s a watermark on the reveal itself, not the actual comic cover.
Comicbook.com revealed the cover exclusively. It’s their watermark.
They’ve since long vanished, replaced by full-page adverts that don’t include any of the “story” content.
I swear like a particularly angry sailor—and am from Europe, so I’m not one of these puritanical americans you’re on about—but I was surprised at the number of casual f-bombs for a 12A picture. As a point of comparison, most Marvel movies are rated 12A here in the UK. Completely out of tone with much of the film, but…
Personally, I’m waiting for the Salmon Ladder to get its own spinoff as part of the CW DC universe. Just 45 minutes of different people using the salmon ladder. Think of the crossovers! Think of the ratings! Think of the abs!
Truly, this is the most important Arrow news of all time.
The solicit confirms it’s Johnny.
