Yeah, this sounds like it’ll be as pointless as that Ham/Nye debate.

I feel your pain, I ran into a game-breaking Skyrim glitch and didn’t realize it until putting a ton of time into the file.

Well, referring to Dragon Quest VIII as an “old” game is certainly making me feel old. When it came out, it reminded me of games that came out 5-10 years before.

I grew up in a tiny rural town where the girls got better grades as well. I think it’s because so many people practiced marriage roles where women were expected to be the smart, quietly responsible ones. There were a lot of poor farmers and almost nobody was expected to grow up to get very intellectual jobs.

It’s not shitty, it’s a pretty understandable reaction. It sounds like you’re judging her extra for hypocrisy, which imo is fair.

I didn’t use them myself, but Modcloth has a lot of tea length wedding dresses.

My parents lived on a farm and used to have mice fairly often. I don’t have any advice, but I sympathize. The poop is super frustrating.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Family can be terrible.

That sucks. :/ I would avoid saying anything other than “no” and expressing gratitude. If you say it isn’t the right program or give any explanation to your no, it gives her an in for the script. Maybe immediately change the subject afterwards or otherwise make it more awkward to keep at the sale.

“Not having a backbone” and “being a coward” are the same thing. If you’re in denial of that, there’s no point talking to you.

backbones are optional

There’s no reason to assume that the dev is lying, though. You’re assuming all of this because it’s more convenient for the cause you’ve chosen to champion. Until there’s some evidence otherwise, I’m not gonna go around calling other people liars and illogical cowards. You should consider it too.

So the author’s message came off as intended. This was not a mistake.

Is that what you call it when useful feedback is a thing? Devs make decisions for a lot of reasons - I doubt having less willpower than you is one of them.

Slime Rancher. It’s so good!

It may be due to name recognition, too. The Star Wars universe is a lot bigger and has more games designed for families - a lower entry barrier to the universe.

I’m sorry you feel like that. I hope you’re in a position where you’re able to get professional help, if you haven’t already.

Happy New Year, all! I’ve been a little down lately because I used to get along with just about everyone, but recently things have been rough with a couple friends and coworkers. In retrospect, though, all of them are men who did something sexist I called them out on, or who pushed boundaries in other ways. Getting

Man, that’s brutal. I hope next year is better for you.

Or, you could take your own advice. If you don’t like his op-ed, write your own instead of complaining.
