Explored areas under fog-of-war and unexplored areas are a similar color of brown that makes it hard to tell at a glance where you’re already been. The mini-map is also really bad, but the normal, visible map is much more colorful than V.

Some of that Endless Legend innovation already came from other games - Warlock II, Age of Wonders, etc. The 4X genre borrows a lot in general imo.

I think it’s worth mentioning that a lot of the dating simulators reward you with special artwork for playing through a route in a certain way. When sexy artwork is also a draw for your game, I can understand wanting to crack down on videos that show them.

I always thought of this as a class thing. My school got a lot of extra benefits because of the typical family income and they were grateful for any help from parents.

It’s also hard to catch up when you’re behind; seems like it’d be difficult to keep the late-game entertaining.
