Other issues:

Trump is sexist, racist and only out for himself. Pence is less obvious about the first two and is on a personal religious crusade that has already killed people.

Great article! Best of luck to him. It’s hard to face that and not let it affect your performance, even subconsciously.

Some JRPGs make it work; look at The World Ends with You.

But to say that it doesn’t exist, or that some women don’t take height into consideration (and for some it is a deal breaker); that is false.

I hope it goes well for you! I didn’t have a boyfriend until my 20's, and most of the problem was that I stood in the corner at parties (when I went) and was too shy to do anything with my appearance. I met my husband a few months after starting to put in a effort. Not everybody gets that lucky, but just taking the

I don’t know how you can work like that, for that long, without burning out.

I know a bunch of girls who said that at their high school prom, but I honestly haven’t encountered it since then. But most of my gal friends don’t wear heels often either.

Not sure what you’re having trouble understanding. Throwing out arbitrary numbers, if 5% of men say their height makes it hard to date women, and 95% of women say they have no problems dating men relatively short men, then either a bunch of women are lying or those 5% are way more worried about their height than they

Yeah, I understand what you’re saying, but I still can’t believe that the creepiness is oozing off him to such a degree that no woman he sees will give him a polite smile. Especially when being polite and following social norms is the default reaction for a lot of women being creeped out by a guy.

It’s obvious he means smiles of interest or general friendliness, not polite smiles you give to strangers just because it’s what you’re supposed to do.

Yeah, I know they exist, but I haven’t met many IRL. I know a couple women who are about 6 feet tall and their husbands are average height for Americans. Most women aren’t that tall unless you’re focusing on models or something though.

I’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it wouldn’t surprise me either.

I’ve met a few men who used their height as a reason for not dating women, but I haven’t met many women who refused to date men below a certain height.

I think the first guy has talked himself into a self-esteem hole that he’ll have trouble getting out of - it’s impossible for me to believe that no woman ever smiles at him, ever, unless he’s staring in a creepy way or keeping his eyes on the ground or something. I usually smile after awkward, accidental eye contact

Every other Republican politician who has worked with Trump has seemed miserable. I hope Pence is gnashing his teeth behind that poker face.

I have to wonder how many people are actually upset at this. These comments seem like random ones pulled from the depths of the Internet. Too many either way, but still.

But they never outright say that it’s about controlling women’s bodies - it’s about a fetus they don’t care about beyond punishing the woman for having sex, it’s about medical regulations no woman ever asked about, it’s about keeping women safe by telling them what to wear and when they’re allowed to have sex...

These politicians work by making anti-abortion legislation and pretending it’s for women’s health when it’s obviously not, rather than being open about their intentions - that’s my point. I live in Indiana and have to put up with that crap. I’m not defending Mike Pence, and if you’re making it out like I am, it’s best

I wouldn’t call it credit to assume someone is that ignorant instead of malicious. I don’t think he intended the HIV crisis either, but he was willing to let it happen for his crusade against abortion and LGBT rights.
