So many people get addicted, OD, and/or die from prescription opioids, yet they’re legal and marijuana (can’t OD!!!) is still federally illegal. What a country!

He drove there, with the guns in the car. That’s about a 2-3 day drive. That’s a long time to stew.

If they had not shot the gorilla, there is a good chance the child would be dead. There is no way to know for sure, then or now, if the child would have been killed but is was a likely outcome if no action was taken. I wonder what the outcry would have been if the child had died?

Also the part where the gorilla went up that ladder while holding the child by the foot, knocking the kid’s head around.

It’s infantilizing. Optimistic and kind hearted are wonderful qualities in a person. “Innocent” implies she doesn’t understand the world around her and, in this case, relationships. Children are “innocent” in that sense of the word. Grown women are not.
