HP's desktops are quite good, actually. It's the laptops that sucks. But it's not only HP. My laptop (~5 years, Fujitsu Siemens Amilo PI 1505) was always kinda slow, and the hard drive just died when i tried to install Ubuntu 11.10 on it. I mostly used it for testing OSes, and i wipe it at least once a month without

I found a good $70 pair of headphones in a Danish electronics store - the CREATIVE Fatal1ty. I'm wearing them now, and i like them.

I have a HP desktop and i've had it for 2 years now. In fact, i'm typing this comment with it. No hardware failures. EVER. Only a single BSOD that i jusr rebooted away from. But stay away from laptops (all of them, not only HP) just for good measure.

How did Lifehacker start out?

It's fixed now :D

SUSE is a RPM-based distro.

Isn't VLC a media player?

I couldn't do anything else than agree.

Ah... I run openSUSE with KDE... Could this fit any worse? Is it worth it to switch to Ubuntu? I hate Unity.

Linux KDE Pack? Linux GNOME Pack? Linux XFCE Pack?
