Right now I’d rather read an article about how people enjoyed a movie I am excited about (even if those opinions might be biased by circustances) than another article about how the coronavirus is selling out hand sanitizer and toilet paper, because people are freaking out instead of taking reasonable precautions

How is it an article that is just one long rant about the misuse/non-use of a term doesn’t include an applicable definition of that term?

I am working under the assumption that a pandemic designation will come in time. However, I also still listen to experts in times like this and I’d say the WHO is probably the biggest expert in the room right now. Instead of calling out things for what they aren’t doing (ie: being especially cautious to not fan the

The villains would be basically the opposite of the Stormtroopers of the Empire

In the 40-plus years since then, we’ve seen lots of the second part of the quote, but not much of the first

I’m sure this will be fun, but I really wish it were a ‘far off sequel’ rather than a prequel. I always worry about prequel stuff as at some point it’ll invariably have to start twisting things to fit with established canon. It also tends to lack dramatic tension because you know (x) isn’t going to ultimately

The adventures of Teen Yoda

Right? It’s so blatant in this trailer too. It’s just every day scenes from the news, but the people suffering are white and that’s meant to be shocking.

I read a comment a while back that I cannot shake off. “Dystopia” is just “Imagine if it happened to white people too”

Is Joker a genre film? It feels more like a psychological thriller/character piece, based on a genre character. A lot of the traditionally superhero genre elements were stripped out. If it wasn’t referencing a pre-existing genre, is there anything in it that makes it a genre film in itself?

To me it felt like part 1 of something, only to muddle through the last act. Gabriela and her part didn’t amount to much except as an extra tag-along. She didn’t have the backstory of Jake and Adam, or the reveal of Suki and given how cluttered the episode was, they probably should have dropped her.

Sad thing is yesterday was one of his better days.

Can we nominate the next recipient? Well I’m going to anyway, Wilbur Ross for his wonderfully sensitive remarks about seeing the cornonavirus in China as an opportunity. Yep, he’s a CUNT for sure.

She is spewing hate, that’s it, that is all she’s doing. Any redeeming qualities she might have are drowned out by the vile nature of her beliefs.

As an englishman, I am 100% behind this award.....
Double whammy for this cretin of humanity too.....she got suspended from Twitter today due to her hate posts

Could not happen to a more deserving ASSHAT

Well, she earned that award, that’s for sure. Rarely have I seen a bigger CUNT.

I love...pretty much everything about The Good Place, but the first thing that comes to mind for me as far as favorite arc is Michael’s journey throughout season 2. The ways in which his exposure to the humans makes him better, how they keep trying to help him be better even when he semi-actively resists it - it’s so

Just goes to show, the real Good Place is the families and friendships we build together. And nothing can destroy that, not even death (or skinsuit demons).

That’s just what French sounds like in the 24th century.
