I still believe that launching the way they did was fine. It is how crazy long it is taking to add the rest that has been the issue. When first announced, “coming in season 2" didn’t seem so bad, because damn near every game does 3-month seasons. Back-to-back 6-month seasons has really been killing things.

Crisis Core was just dumb luck for that guy. One could have assumed that FF7R did really well and dev on FF7-2 would take a while, so why not in between games dip into other aspects of FF7?

If purchasing is already a forgone conclusion what needs urgent revealing? It’s not like revealing anything prematurely magically makes the game get finished faster.

I’m not surprised they couldn’t replicate the success of Pokemon Go. I can’t think of another beloved IP that so immediately makes you wish you could walk around and see its characters within the real world, the pitch writes itself. The fact that they tried to stretch that concept to also fit so many other properties

...Hamlet?

I CAN’T believe Mac stole your joke!

Oh yeah, that’s what I wanted from State of Decay this whole time, the PvP aspect that’s never been present in previous games

Meme time!

My only guess is that they must make a TON of money off selling our location data, and having their players stay home must seriously cut into that.

It’s just extremely fun, straightforward, player-first design. Very little in the game is there to punish you, outside of the enemies. So you’re pretty much always making forward progress, even when you fail. Think of the good parts of addicting mobile games, with none of the gross microtransactions. Because of that,

Just play it, man.  I don’t find it enjoyable to watch at all, but get one good run going and you’ll understand.  It just does a lot of small things right, and when you put all those right things together, it becomes great.

Sorry, but I disagree. The fact you believe men only can be toxic, just for being men, and this woman can’t be toxic, manipulative or violent, just for the fact she is a woman, it’s the worse case of mysoginy.

Agree with every single one of these points (but I too use the d-pad all the time, even if Xbox’s is inferior; still feels better to me than the sticks).

I liked AW as well. It had some fine music too.

I loved all of the mainline entries (save one). My teenage years were consumed by THUG 1 & 2 online on the PS2 and I even loved Project 8 and Proving Grounds. So many of the “die hard fans” only cared for THPS but I never quit believing until THPS 5 - the only true dumpster fire of the mainline games.

Has anyone told the dude in the video that he looks like Tony Hawk?

For a mobile 24m is pretty bad, especially in Chinese mobile game market

It will also completely over write your campaign saved difficulty level if you join a hosts game set to a different one. Yea very fun but some very major progress and functional/string related bugs as noted.
